Sonaze One Secret 7

Sonic: (Coarsely/Waking up) Ugh. That was not cool! Felt like a rock hit me hard! Okay. Feeling really heavy too. (Wiping his eyes/looking around) Wait! I’m at Marine’s shack? Did we even leave to-?

Sonic immediately looked over the covers to see Blaze resting by him. She had changed into different clothes this time. She wore a form fitting green sleeveless T-shirt with bright white pajamas.

Sonic: (Raising an eyebrow/softly) *Sleeping by me again? Never mind. *Yawn!* What time is it anyway?*

Sonic looked for a clock in the room. He found one hanging on the wall as the time read 8:15 a.m.

Sonic: (Softly) *Blaze might’ve put her clothes in the wash. I need to get up anyway.* (Struggling) *What the...?*

Blaze: (Softly) *Purrr...* (Grabs Sonic)

Sonic: (Surprised) What the-?

Blaze: (Pulls herself towards him) *Purrr....*

Her tail begins to wrap itself around Sonic as he carefully tries to get loose. He fails as her tail and her body entrap him in a soft embrace. Her body had made it halfway to Sonic as she held on to him.

Sonic: (Relaxing) I’m not getting out of this one am I? *Sigh* Might as well enjoy it! (Embraces Blaze)

Sonic held on to the Princess willingly as he gave up on fighting her off. He softly embraced her as she managed to crawl the rest of the way to him. Once there her whole body began to cover his. Only his head appeared as Blaze rested on the hedgehog with her head buried under his neck. He could feel the soft purrs come from the Princess as Sonic began stroking her fur.

The trills she made had slightly tickled Sonic as his arms wrapped around her back.

Sonic: (Smiling) Maybe I can lay here for a bit.

Blaze: (Softly) *Purrr...*

Sonic: (In thought) If I’m living here, then I might as well enjoy the time I have with Blaze. It’s gonna be interesting living here in another world. How am I gonna break it to everyone back home? How am I gonna break it to Tails? (Looking down to Blaze) *Sigh* Everything is not going like I wanted it to. Why did the Chaos Emeralds have to send me here? Why now? Couldn’t I have made this choice down the road? *Sigh* Makes me think of that verse in a song I heard back home.

Sonic began singing to himself.

Sonic: (In thought/Stroking Blaze’s fur) Depressing but it speaks a cold truth: I’m going to miss the times I spent with everyone. It’s been about 26 years and I’ve enjoyed each and every one of them. Meeting Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, and even Shadow surprisingly. I have a feeling that Eggman’s gonna have a tougher time beating Shadow than me. Heh. Yeah.

Blaze: (Lowly/Opening her eyes) *Sonic?*

Sonic: (Observing Blaze/Whispering) Hey. Get enough sleep?

Blaze: (Softly) *I did. Thank you.*

Sonic: None needed. (Continued stroking)

Blaze rests her head back on Sonic as the hedgehog becomes more determined to save the world.

Sonic: (Normal voice) Hey. Ready to save the world?

Blaze: I’m ready to save both of our worlds.

Sonic: Right! (Cockily) That’s what I meant to say.

Blaze: (Chuckling) Always the cocky one.

*Creak!*

Marine walked in! Her face was a bit pale and grim.

Marine: Oy! I hope I ain’t interruptin’! But there be a stranger lookin’ for ye!

Sonic: Most likely Fessir. Let’s go and be heroes!

Both Sonic and Blaze rose up from the couch. Blaze still had her gloves on as she quickly put on her violet and crimson boots as Sonic made his way outside. Blaze soon followed suit as they saw Fessir, who approached the two heroes.

Fessir: Be wary my friends. The dimensional rifts between our world and yours are starting to collide! We need to use the Sol Emeralds now before it gets worse!

Sonic: Let’s get this done!

Blaze: Agreed! Follow me to the castle.

Sonic: Ha! Beat you there!

*Zip!*

Blaze: (Shaking her head) Sonic! Wait!





After taking the pathway back to the Castle, they arrived once more to the palace steps.

Blaze: Let’s go!

Fessir and Sonic followed Blaze into the castle. Taking another hallway from before, they raced down the corridors. They reached a door at the end as she opened it up. The room revealed the Sol Emeralds that sat in separate posts with glass surrounding them. The line connecting the glass had raised up as soon as she entered.

Sonic: (Rushing) Let’s grab and go quick before something happens!

Blaze reacted. She grabbed the Sol Emeralds and placed them in softly in a cotton bucket.

*FWOOSH!*

A breach began to open!

Sonic: Uh-oh! HOLD ON TO SOMETHING!

Both Sonic and Blaze held on to the metal posts that held the Sol Emeralds as the portal tried to suck them in! Blaze kicked the cotton bucket out of the way to protect the Sol Emeralds as she held on tightly.

Fessir: (Heading to the portal) Hold on a bit longer!

Sonic: Wasn’t planning on letting go!

Fessir hopped towards the entrance, and with a quick wave, the portal closed! Sonic and Blaze landed on the floor as they let the bars go.

Fessir: (Dropping down) Is everyone okay?

Sonic: (Standing up) I’m good! Blaze?

Blaze: (Standing up) I’m fair! Are the Sol Emeralds safe?

Sonic looked around and saw the bucket. He ran towards it.

Sonic: (Picking up the bucket/Observing Sol Emeralds) Got it!

Blaze: Thank goodness. (Takes the bucket)

Fessir: It’s only going to get worse from here! You two must head back to the coast and use the Sol Emeralds before both of our worlds collide with each other! I’ll do what I can to stop the minor ones here. Go! Now!

Sonic and Blaze ran out! More portals opened as Fessir closed every single one of them!

Sonic: Right! It began there, and it’s going to end there.

Blaze: (Looking to Sonic) I’ll be with you. Every step.

Sonic: (Giving a thumbs up) I'm expecting nothing less!

Sonic nodded as both of them quickly raced down to the beach!





Sonic and Blaze reached the beach as both of them skidded to a sudden halt! Blaze set down the bucket as the Sol Emeralds began glowing.

Sonic: (Nearing the Emeralds) I’ve never used another set of Emeralds before. Now that I’m apart of this world, I should be able to harness the power of all Seven of them. *Sigh* I’m not sure if I can do this!

Blaze: You can do this! I believe in you Sonic. You’ve become strong enough to control a power I once thought was a curse! You were the one who taught me that it wasn’t. It was a gift. Just like you were my gift Sonic. Just like…

Without another second, Blaze wrapped her arms around Sonic’s neck. She pulled herself up as she pressed her lips upon his. Silence was all that hung in the air as Sonic returned the kiss passionately.

Blaze: (Slowly releasing the kiss) You are my gift Sonic. (Caressing his face) You’re my gift. Believe in the person you’ve made. Save both of our worlds Sonic. Save yourself. Save me.

Sonic: (Nodding) I will. Count on it!

Blaze: Come back to me Blue Hedgehog.

Sonic nodded. He turned to the Sol Emeralds as they rose from their resting place. Surrounding the hedgehog, he looked to Blaze who was observing the transformation.

*Tink!*

Suddenly the Emeralds infused themselves within the hedgehog! A surrounding flame engulfed him as he was straining through the rigorous process!

Sonic: (Straining) Gah! It hurts but, I’m…

The flame disappeared! The hedgehog who was once Super Sonic by the Chaos Emeralds is now known as Pyro Sonic! His fur became red with his eyes a searing Violet! The tips of his quills were Yellow to represent the coarseness of the flames within the fully powered blur!

Blaze: (Apalled) Sonic? Are you…?

Pyro Sonic: (Invigorated) I...I feel pretty powerful! This is different from when I turned into Super Sonic! This is...a lot stronger!

Blaze: This is the true power of the Sol Emeralds Sonic!

Pyro Sonic: It feels great! Heh…

Sonic feels something happening. As he reached his hands out towards Blaze, she could see that his body was becoming transparent! Her eyes widened to this phenomena!

Blaze: Sonic? (Shocked) SONIC!!!!
