Sonic: Blaze? Is that actually you?

Sonic gawked at the sight! Blaze stood there with her arms crossed in a relaxed manner. She had worn a new purple bikini, her hair was down, and her golden eyes were shining in the rays of the sunlight! Blaze became both flushed and surprised at the sight of Sonic! Especially in this awkward moment.

Sonic: (Gawking) I uh...wow! Do I need to actually?...

Her blushing was hidden by the distance between both of them.

Blaze: (Refocusing) No! You don’t have to…(covering her face)

Sonic: (in thought/scratching his forehead) This is awkward.

Blaze: (In thought/closing her eyes) How on Earth did Sonic get here?

Sonic: Say something dude! (Speaking) Yeah...I’ll just go-!

Blaze: That’s not necessary! (Thinking) Blaze! What do you think you’re doing?!

Blaze tried her best to make the situation as comfortable for both of them.

Sonic: Uh…(sitting near the coast) Alright!

Blaze had walked over and sat with him on the coast. Due to the awkward situation, both of them hadn’t said a word to each other as they stared out onto the horizon.

Blaze: (Starting conversation) Sonic? I have to ask...how did you arrive in my world?

Sonic took a moment before responding.

Sonic: Well I remember running somewhere...and then I just remember falling! I didn’t know where I was going until I fell in the sand and ended up here. But honestly? I really can’t explain how!

Blaze: I have a feeling that the Chaos Emeralds from your world are involved.

Sonic: I don’t doubt it. I have a feeling that your Sol Emeralds have something to do with this too. I didn’t just willingly show up here to-! Wait. (Brooding) Maybe that explains it!

Blaze: Explains what?

Sonic: Why I was seeing you!

Blaze was confused by the complicated reply.

Blaze: (Confused) Seeing me how?

Sonic: Yesterday, I had a vision of you resting on the beach. You were gazing out to the horizon and watching the Sunset! I could’ve sworn you looked at me then.

Blaze was immediately shocked! She remembered back to that evening when she also had a vision of him! The thing was...she actually did turn to view him!

Sonic: You’re probably thinking I’m crazy. Just like everyone else back home!

Blaze took a moment before responding.

Blaze: No. I actually don’t! I myself experienced this oddity only yesterday. You were standing there observing the beach and you turned to look at me. I thought you too were real! Sonic…

Sonic: Yeah Blaze?

Blaze: We both did see each other. I know this for a fact. The only explanation I can think of would be the powers from the Chaos and Sol Emeralds being in a state of flux. Both of us seeing each other in our own worlds could mean disaster for each of them!

Sonic: (Slapping his forehead) Tails said the exact same thing! He said that both of our worlds could end up crashing into each other!

Blaze: (Getting up) Then we have to prepare for the worst. I have little to no power in doing anything. Except for protecting my people!

Sonic: (Standing with her) Wait! You’re giving up?!

Blaze: Sonic! I have no knowledge of how to stop this! As I’ve said, I don’t have the necessary ability to even try! I need to be there for my people when the worst arrives.

Sonic: (Chuckling) Blaze! You have me! Right?

Blaze: I do my friend! Thank you! But this is something I must figure out on my own for right now! I’m terribly sorry that you’ve come all this way just for bad news!

She begins to walk away, but Sonic softly placed his hand on her shoulder. She stopped as his response was met with a her hand covered the top of his.

Sonic: Look. I know that things are getting to be a bit dreadful, but that doesn’t mean there’s no light at the end of the tunnel!

Blaze lowered her eyes in sorrow. Turning around as they both released the grasp of their hands.

Sonic: All I’m asking is that we find hope. Hope in finding a way to stop this from happening! Can I...can we do this?

Blaze closed her eyes for a minute.

Blaze: (Smiles lightly/Eyes opening) Hope is one of the names given to the Sol Emeralds Sonic. It has been deemed one of the most powerful out of the rest!

Sonic: (Nervously) Well, I hope that’s a yes I’m hearing!

Blaze: (Nods) Yes. That is indeed a yes!

Sonic: (Ecstatically) Alright! Heheh! A new adventure!

Blaze: A new adventure. Now, I must tend to acquiring my clothes.

Blaze headed back to grab her bag she had brought with her as Sonic followed. They reached the area where the forest behind them had revealed a different pathway akin to Sonic’s pathway.

Blaze: Sonic? Privacy please?

Sonic: Sorry! I’ll turn around. (Turning around/In thought) This is the first time I’ve ever caught a girl in a really awkward moment! Well to be honest, it wasn’t my fault because the Chaos Emeralds sent me here. Though if I’m being honest with myself, Blaze seemingly looked pretty beautiful no doubt, but we’re just friends! Nothing more!-

Blaze: Done! You can turn now Sonic!

Sonic: (Turning around) Cool! Now-Whoa!

Sonic noticed that she had an upgraded version of her attire! Her jacket was buffer with a darker shade of purple, furrier cuffs on both hands and feet, shoes were shined with metal clips on the heels, and she had primed white tights on!

Sonic: Pretty snazzy there Blaze! Royalty sure does treat you well!

Blaze: (Lightly blushing) Thank you for the compliment Sonic. We should head for the Kingdom. My adviser should provide me with insight on the Emeralds.

Sonic immediately thought up a fun idea.

Sonic: (Snarky) Hey? Wanna race me back there?

Blaze: (Chuckling) While I do admire the challenge you present to me Sonic, we should be focusing on the main problem presented to us at the moment.

Sonic: C’mon! If it means anything, this would help you focus more on hand-eye coordination! It’s like you said before: I always keep you guessing!

Blaze: Why do I always say thing like that?

Sonic: Because I’m just as fast as you!

Blaze: (Jokingly) Oh is that so? Then as Princess of the Sol Kingdom, I challenge you to a race! Prove yourself my young "protege"!

Sonic: "Protege?" (Chuckling) Heheh! Now you've done it! You’re so going down!

Both heroes set themselves in position.

Blaze: 3…

Sonic: 2…

Blaze: 1…

The heroes muscles began to tense as the race was about to begin. Only one word can start the comparison of speed delivered from start to finish!

Sonic: GO!

*ZOOM!*

A trail of fire and footprints were left in the sand with the race leading on. The secret of the Chaos and the Sol Emeralds are yet to be discovered when they arrive at the castle.
